1. Another win for the Roadrunners
The No. 3-ranked Roadrunners won against University of Mobile during the homecoming game. This was the team’s 14th win in a row bringing the record to 21-1! They play Thursday, Feb. 6 at Blue Mountain College and Saturday, Feb. 8 at Bethel University.
2. Coming together at the Rage n’ Roar Bonfire

Students and community members gathered at the Rage n’ Roar Bonfire to wish continued luck to the basketball team. Beep! Beep!
3. Testing our knowledge at Trivia Night
Fourteen teams of students, faculty and community members competed at The Mill in the second annual Trivia Night. While the questions challenged many, three teams walked away victorious!
4. Crowning new campus royalty
Cynthia Evans was crowned homecoming queen, while Casey Mashburn received king. Kirby Jones and Mariela Vasquez tied for princess, and Logan Huggins received prince.
5. Giving back to the community
This year homecoming candidates served the community by hosting a speakeasy soirée! The event benefited Cross Plains Community Partners.
6. Bringing the 20’s to Dalton State
To help bring in the new decade, events were held across campus to welcome the “Roaring 20’s.” These ranged from a Casino Night and games of Mafia to a Jazz Speakeasy and a Homecoming Bash that would make any flapper want to dance.
